ABOUT CASSANDRA

I am a Board Certified Counselor who specializes in helping adults cope with trauma-related issues and substance abuse issues. I counsel my clients in a way that utilizes both their heads and their bodies to create connection from past trauma to their present-day hurdles.

There are a wide range of events, big and small, that stick with us and make us feel “stuck.” I believe one of the bravest things you can do is to face your unhealed trauma and become "unstuck."

I first learned about counseling when I hit a roadblock in my own life and was struggling to move past it. The techniques I developed were so successful that it motivated me to turn my newfound passion into a full-time career.

In my time outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my retired racing greyhounds and cycling on the beautiful trails surrounding West Michigan.

If you have any questions about my approach to treatment, or would like to schedule a consultation, I’m ready when you are.
